Thanksgiving And The Christmas Cottage

I just got back from my sister's where I had Thanksgiving dinner with my family. Only one of my sister's wasn't there. I love to spend time with my family and I'm glad that I got to spend the day with my brother and my nephew who I haven't gotten to spend time with in years. They've both been out of state for years. My oldest sister gave me The Christmas Cottage DVD for christmas last year. She surprised me with it and it was the best present. It has become a tradition to watch in on Thanksgiving now. Sure this tradition is two years old, but they have to start at some point.

I'm so happy that Jared was in The Christmas Cottage and I love him in it. I also love Thomas Kinkade. I'm currently reading his new book, "A Wish For Christmas". I love his paintings and his books. He has brought a light into this world that has shone really bright. He knows how to inspire people.

That's what I love the most about books, movies, television and music. Not just their entertainment value, but that they have the power to inspire me.

I have to write about Jared because he has been a light for me. I know it sounds stupid, but he really has the power to make me smile and feel better and I've never even met him. There is just something I see when I look at him in pictures and movies and watch him in Supernatural. Something just shines through and touches me. I wish I could meet him and somehow express the way I feel about him, without creeping him out. I love him, but I'm not in love with him. Sure I think about him sometimes and wish I could be with him, but that will never happen. I do want him to be happy and I hope that he is and always will be. I would just like to tell him a simple Thank You for what he does for me.
